If you’ve been wanting to use your new Sony PS3’s SIXAXIS on your PC, here’s your chance to give it a try. The DCEmu forums have a driver up and a set of easy instructions on how to get yourself going. Sadly, I followed all the directions and tested the driver out, but I couldn’t get it to work. I got as far as getting my PC to recognize SIXAXIS as a gaming controller, but honestly, I never plugged in the SIXAXIS without the driver, so your PC might recognize your SIXAXIS anyway when you first plug it in.
Heres the instructions to make it work
1. Download and install the filter driver (libusb-win32 Windows API - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia -filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe)
2. Unpack ps3sixaxis_en.exe
3. Plug the SIXAXIS into your PC.
4. Run ps3sixaxis_en.exe once.
5. Push the PS button on the SIXAXIS once if it doesnt see it straight away.
